Hino L Series
The Hino L Series, marketed as “More Than a Truck,” is built for the everyday work that keeps local businesses and municipalities running. The L6 and L7 cover box trucks, landscape and service bodies, local delivery, and municipal routes throughout Wareham and the South Coast.
Both models run on a Cummins B6.7L engine producing 240–260 hp and 600–660 lb-ft of torque, paired with an Allison 6-speed automatic transmission with neutral-at-stop and backed by a 5-year, unlimited-mile Allison warranty. GVWR ranges from 23,000 lbs on the L6 up to 33,000 lbs on the L7, giving you room to size the right truck to the job.
Drivers get an automotive-inspired cab with an air-ride seat, digital instrument cluster, 80-degree wide-opening doors, and low step-in height, plus a best-in-class 55-degree wheel cut and a 2,385 sq in windshield for industry-leading visibility. Every L Series truck also comes with HinoWatch roadside assistance and standard Hino Edge telematics.

Standard LED headlights, a high seating position and a 2,385 sq. in. windshield provide maximum visibility for the driver. Advanced active safety systems are also available on all models.
AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM
Available radar-based Automatic Emergency Braking System (AEBS) provides active braking for moving and stationary vehicles.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING
An available camera-based system that helps reduce road run-offs, side swipes, and head-on collisions due to driver inattention or fatigue through distinct audible warnings for unintentional lane departures.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL
Automatically intervenes when there is a high risk of directional instability that could lead to loss of vehicle control or rollover. Standard on all Tractors.

Cummins’ single VGT is a simple and elegantly designed turbo that can dynamically adjust a single sliding nozzle for better air/fuel mixing. Additionally, the VGT provides engine braking without the need to incorporate a separate engine brake.
Single Module After Treatment
Combines high efficiency SCR, a redesigned dosing unit and a DPF into a single flow-through unit. This single pass-through design optimizes exhaust flow, and the compact packaging helps maintain hotter, consistent temperatures across the unit for better NOx reduction and optimized fuel efficiency while helping to minimize periodic maintenance.
Allison Transmission
Allison transmissions are standard on all conventional Hino trucks and offer a fully automatic six-speed transmission that provides smooth, seamless full-power shifts to put engine power to the ground in the most fuel efficient way. The result of Allison’s fully automatic transmission is faster acceleration and higher average road speed, which equate to quicker route times throughout the day.
